Nelson Forçan holds a degree in Film Studies from the Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado, and he has been working in audiovisual localization since 2010. This has given him extensive experience in translation for dubbing, subtitling, and accessibility, with a particular focus on audio description. In total, he has translated or proofread over 2,000 hours of content for prestigious national and international distributors and producers.
He worked as a Language Coordinator at a major studio for four years, acting as the workflow manager for the Translation, Subtitling, and Quality Control Department. Furthermore, he has trained over 20 translators who now work in the Brazilian audiovisual market.
